STORY

Double-chapped work pants are time-honored wear for makers who spend their days waist-deep at a workbench or in the woods. Ours are crafted from a sturdy, subtly stretchy, cotton dobby canvas that imbues them with character. First woven in the 1840s, dobby is made on a specialized loom that gives it a unique raised texture and geometric thread pattern that sets it apart from treadle-woven fabrics. Deep front pockets, button-flap rear pockets and a coin pocket on the wearer’s right contain everything you can’t leave home without.
